  1. Something else I want to add is to trust your instincts. I was told my son was just mild by his pediatrician when I brought it up. I had to mention it and then they kond of disregaurded it. My husband and I insisted on having a referal to a specialist. SOOOOOOOOOO glad we did because it was more than just mild.

Another interesting thing was that my son had a, "very unique fusion". That is what the surgeon told us. It was fused mainly in the middle not too high and not too low. This was wonderful because the surgery was much shorter and his swelling was not as server as we had thought. Every baby is different and everybody will have a different story, but we can all say it gets better and is something that needs to be done. It will be okay! These babies are amaaing so strong. Much stronger than I. Jacpbi is my hero!
